Funded from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, this center provides and educational facility. Outdoor exhibits take place on the fifty acre site with a forest and freshwater. Some of the exhibits at the center include touch tank, 3-D model of the bay, dry-dock with small boats and more.

Watch animals in their natural habitats. Tigers, lions, wolves and deer's can all be seen. Not only see the animals but also learn about them from one of the staff members. People with groups larger than ten people can receive guided tours. The park is open between the month of April and November.

Discover the Great North Woods at the Phillips Brook Backcountry Recreation Area. There are some amazing panoramic views ate the Whitcomb Mountain Firetower. The location is over 24,000 acres in size and vehicles are not permitted in the actual park. There is a lodge located in the park.
